Yoneko’s work dances between memory and imagination, colour and emotion. In her patterns, she invites the viewer into a tender recollection of her childhood garden—a space lovingly created by her Japanese grandparents, as magical as a dream. There, among the flowers, insects, and enchanting little creatures, her creativity first began to bloom.

This piece is infused with that same childlike wonder. The playful arrangement of colours and shapes captures the joyful spontaneity of those early years, while the repeating patterns echo the rhythms of nature she once observed so closely. Through her work, Yoneko preserves these precious memories—not as relics of the past, but as living, blooming expressions of joy, magic, and connection.
